Students will explore measurement of distance and angles to write code to navigate a set of challenges. Students will apply their knowledge of the relationships among distance, rate and time to write equations to optimize routes through a “city” or maze with obstacles. This activity is appropriate for students familiar with modeling and solving relationships involving distance, rate, and time.
use their knowledge of angles, writing equations, and the relationship in the context of challenge problems.
